What exactly is a ticket or citation?

Your ticket is a legal document that charges you with a violation of the Municipal Ordinance(s) of the Town of Talala. If you receive a ticket, you are required to take certain actions.

What do I do if I receive a traffic or criminal code ticket?

If you are pleading guilty or no contest and your ticket has a dollar amount listed on the front, you may pay online, by mail, or in person. See the options below.

How do I pay by mail?

Enclose a copy of your ticket, write your ticket number on your check, and mail to:

Do not mail cash. If you would like a receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

How do I pay in person?

You can pay in person at Talala Municipal Court, 102 W. Watova St., Talala, OK 74080, Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., excluding legal holidays. You may also pay in person after any court appearance.

What methods of payment do you accept?

The Court accepts cash, check, and money order. Credit cards are subject to the following convenience fees:

What if my ticket does not have a dollar amount listed on the front?

You must appear at the arraignment — your first appearance — even if you wish to pay the ticket in full on that day.

What is my arraignment?

Your arraignment is the first appearance you make in Court after receiving a ticket. That date is listed on the front of the ticket. At arraignment you may plead guilty, no contest, or not guilty before the Judge.
