Traffic Tickets
There are two basic types of tickets issued by the Talala Police Department.
Has a dollar amount printed
Any ticket with a printed dollar amount — regardless of the amount — can be paid online. Paying in full before your court date is entered as a guilty or no-contest plea, and you do not need to appear.
Has the word “COURT” in the box
This type of ticket cannot be paid online. You must appear in court on the date indicated on the ticket.
Reading your citation
Your ticket is a legal document that charges you with a violation of the Municipal Ordinances of the Town of Talala. If you receive a ticket, you are required to take certain actions. The box on the front of the ticket tells you which of the two paths above applies to you.
If you are unsure which type of ticket you have, call the Court Clerk at 918-553-5535 before your court date. Read the full ticket FAQs →
